Prayer needed for the Hodge family
August 23, 2009
This is a very brief post with a heavy heart. Longtime VeggieTales writer/director Tim Hodge and his family need our prayers right now - they're 18 year-old son Matthew was in a car accident last night and is currently fighting for his life in a Nashville hospital. Pray for the doctors currently working on Matthew, as well as his parents Tim and Sandy and his younger sister Abby, that they would feel God's presence in this very dark hour. Tim has been a key part of the Big Idea family for quite some time, so many Big Idea folks are with them right now. I'll keep you informed as we learn more.

Dear Jesus, please comfort this family during this time of uncertainty, and do a miracle in Matthew’s body. ==Amen.
I’ll have my 3 yr old pray for this. He’s a little warrior.

I am so sorry to hear that. A former classmate of mine lost his older brother last year to a major car accident on the New Jersey turnpike, I know what this feeling of pressure feels like. Matthew and the Hodge family will be in my prayers tonight.

We are praying for Matt ! May the Lord heal him and peace be with his parents and family–Thanks in advance for any updates you have–I put the prayer request on my Facebook earlier and know they will want updates as well.

My sister and I just prayed for Matthew and his family. You can let Tim and Sandy know we are praying for him in Australia.

Dear Jesus,
Please be with the Hodge family right now, especially Matthew as he is in very serious condition and needs your healing touch right now. Help Tim and his wife and Matthew’s siblings to feel your peace and comfort right now. Please give Matthew the best care possible, and provide for this families every need. Encourage them, and surround them with a real since of your presence. Thank you for your love and watch care over this family. Amen
